This children's Christmas classic starts off slow, and then builds into a chaotic crescendo once the eponymous characters appear.The fun is in the many miniature vignettes of the gremlins as they variously cause mischief and form hard drinking and/or smoking tableaux.
Their cackling laughter and cries of "Yum, yum" will reverbrate around our household for hours, if not days to come.
